Marsha de Cordova MP said:
“It was fantastic to see the high level of interest in my Battersea Jobs Fair. I was pleased that many people were offered jobs paying the London Living Wage or more, some of whom started shifts that very day.
In response to the current cost of living crisis, I am determined to provide opportunities for people in Battersea and help them access secure, and well-paid jobs.
Holding the Jobs Fair is part of my priority to create a thriving local economy and to support businesses in Battersea so we can make it the best place in the entire world to live, work and visit.”
