Following the publication of Sue Gray’s report and the Prime Minister’s statement in the Commons, I reiterate my call from 8th December 2021 when I wrote to the Prime Minister that he should resign. I believe he has lost the moral authority and the trust of the people to govern.

The British people expect their leaders to uphold the law, not break it. Sue Gray’s report shows that the PM presided over a culture of law breaking whilst he was asking the people to make major sacrifices. So many important moments were relinquished by public to help keep our country safe.

The actions of the PM shows the true level of entitlement and contempt that he has for the people.

Leaders are judged by their actions. They set the example for the people they represent. Therefore, the actions of the Prime Minister matter.
