Women and girls deserve to feel safe, wherever they are and whatever they’re doing. This isn’t just a women’s issue but rather a goal which we all have a responsibility to work towards.

I’ve spoken to women & girls about the changes they’d like to see in Battersea and in response I’m launching my Safe Spaces initiative. Participating businesses and community spaces will offer any woman or girl feeling at risk a safe space, an opportunity to charge their phone & if necessary, discretely call the police.
